Space Quest I: The Sarien Encounter
Space Quest I: The Sarien Encounter was released by Sierra On-Line in October 1986. It was designed by Scott Murphy and Mark Crowe, the “Two Guys from Andromeda.” In Space Quest, you play as Roger Wilco (or a name of your choice), a hapless janitor aboard the spacelab Arcada. The crew of the Arcada has just completed development of a Star Generator, a powerful tool designed to save a dying planet. Soon after the ship is attacked by Sariens, killing nearly everyone aboard and stealing the Star Generator.
I played this game when I was younger on an early Macintosh, in black and white. This was my first time playing it in color on a Macintosh II.
