Birthday Fundraiser for Autistic Self Advocacy Network
Posted June 19, 2026

It’s my birthday! I’ll be playing The Legend of Zelda (1986) and raising funds for Autistic Self Advocacy Network. I’ll be making a hand-drawn map of Hyrule and it’s dungeons, and doing my best to defeat Ganon. To donate, use the purple “Donate to Charity” button on my Twitch page, or donate here.
ASAN believes autistic people need to be involved whenever autism is discussed, and that the goal of autism advocacy should be a world in which autistic people enjoy equal access, rights, and opportunities. You can learn more about ASAN here or review their latest annual report here (it’s nicely designed and easy to read).
Donation Incentives
- I will play for at least 5 hours regardless of donations. For every $40 USD raised, I will add 30 minutes. I’ll play for up to 10 hours on Friday, and up to 10 hours on Saturday. If people are incredibly generous and continue donating, I will add Wednesday streams, time permitting, and play for up to a maximum of 50 bonus hours. If I finish The Legend of Zelda at any point, I will continue on to Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.
- For a single donation of $50 USD or more, I will show a Thing I Found in the Basement on stream—something I found in the basement while I was looking for something else. This could be an old piece of artwork or just something I have that I think is amusing and worth sharing. I have four of these prepared, so this incentive will only be available four times.
- For a donation of any amount, I will add your username to the border of my map of Hyrule. You will also get a cute little alert with an animated Zelda character I drew, and a thank you from me.
