The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow is a folk horror point-and-click game, designed by Shaun Aitcheson and developed by Cloak and Dagger Games. It was published by Wadjet Eye Games in 2022 for Windows, Mac, and Linux, then for Nintendo Switch the following year.
You play as Thomasina Bateman, noted barrow expert and author. She receives a letter from Leonard Shoulder inviting her to Bewlay, a remote village in England, to investigate a barrow “steeped in local legend.” When she arrives, her assistant is missing, Mr. Shoulder is nowhere to be found, and mysteries continue to pile up quickly.
