Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir
Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir was designed and written by Yoshio Sakamoto, and published by Nintendo for the Famicom Disk System in 1988. The original game was only released in Japanese. It was later remade as part of Famicom Detective Club: The Two-Case Collection, released for Nintendo Switch in 2021. This release includes remakes of the first two games in the series, The Missing Heir and The Girl Who Stands Behind. It’s also the first official English translation of either game. The series was partially inspired by The Portopia Serial Murder Case, which began the popular visual novel genre in Japan.
