Clock Tower: Rewind
Clock Tower is a point-and-click survival horror game. It was directed by Hifumi Kono, developed by Human Entertainment, and released for Super Famicom in 1995. WayForward and Limited Run Games released the remastered Clock Tower: Rewind in 2024. This remaster is the first time the game was officially translated to English, and includes a new animated introduction art directed by Mariel Cartwright, along with some new features.
Clock Tower blends the exploration and item-based puzzle solving you’d find in a typical adventure game with tense encounters that offer few options other than to run and hide. The game takes significant inspiration from Dario Argento’s 1985 film Phenomena. The main character, Jennifer Simpson, even looks quite similar to actor Jennifer Connelly’s character in Phenomena, Jennifer Corvino.
