Riven is complete! Let’s play it again. This time I’ll be checking out the 2024 remake for the first time. According to Cyan, “This brand-new, re-imagined, and expanded version of Riven offers a deeper story, new captivating visuals, and a journey that stays true to the original release while also expanding on Riven’s breathtaking world.” It’s my understanding some of the puzzles have changed, so it should offer a new challenge as well!
Night Manor is a point-and-click horror game that’s part of UFO 50. “Trapped in a nightmare where you must use your wits to survive and escape,” the game explains. “Our only game to require a warning text, and the first game directed by longtime designer Greg-Milk.”
I’ve been excited to play this once since it was announced. Now that UFO 50 is available in a more convenient form for me, it’s time.
