The Journeyman Project

Before we get back to the Myst series, let’s check out another early Macintosh CD-ROM game I’ve wanted to play since I was a kid: The Journeyman Project. It’s a first-person, science fiction adventure game created by Presto Studios. It was originally released in 1993, the same year as the original Myst. Presto Studios would later create Myst III: Exile, the first Myst game that was not developed by Cyan Worlds, so I thought this would be a great way to see what made them the right people to fill those shoes.

The answers lie in the soil…” I’ve heard nothing but good things about The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow and it seems like the perfect way to start October.

I’ll be doing a special Halloween stream on Friday, October 31. Details to come, but you can expect an appropriately haunted game and I will be in costume.
At some point we’ll join Silver again to finish up Nightmare Frames.
I’ve also just reached 1,000 followers on Twitch, so I’ll be doing a special stream to celebrate. This stream will include: co-working on the moon, VR gaming with Apple Goggles®, and other silly fun. Date to be determined. I’m hoping to schedule this at the end of August or early September I’ll let you know when I work out a good time for this!
