Transfer Point Cover Painting

Continues Friday, September 13 at 9 PM EDT
  • This is a little bit tentative until I figure out what’s wrong with my arm. If I’m unable to paint we’ll probably play more Carmen Sandiego or something!

I recently finished creating a game called Transfer Point in World Builder, an adventure game development tool created by William C. Appleton, and published by Silicon Beach Software in 1986. The game is currently being playtested and polished up for release.

Since the game was created entirely on stream, using tools from the 80s, I thought it was only fair that I create the cover art for the game the same way. Game boxes at the time often featured an illustration, typically painted or created using some other form of traditional media. I’m attempting to create my cover the same way—starting out with sketches, then eventually painting it using acrylics.
